  1. I own a Liteon SOHW 832s DVDRW drive. We've purchased some horrible DVDR discs and are coming to the end of them and would like to pay whatever it takes to get working DVDR blank discs which can be recorded onto at 8x and used within the DVD-PLAYE, and so forth. We've heard of Taiyo Yuden discs but dont know much about this brand. I do apologize but it is VERY difficult meandering thru this website. If there is a location here to identify all the working DVD+R/-R media for our drive then please point me there.

    Thnaks.

TY is good media as you mentioned, Best Buy has Fuji discs on sale for $.40 per disc about every other week, the spindles that say 'Made in Japan' are TY media. You could also look for 'made in Japan' TDK or Sony discs, they also use TY media.

Navigating through the site is NOT that difficult, BTW. Do a couple of searches and spend 30 minutes reading up and you'll find tons of info on DVD media.

  3. Thanks for the reply.

I live in Canada and was going to order perhaps a 25 - 50 pack over the net. Know of any good places for TY or Fuji for my drive?

I can't speak for Canadian retailers. Do a search for 'canada' or 'canadian', etc. in the media forum, there are some threads on media deals in Canada there. I'm sure there are a number of users from Canada that can better answer your questions on where the best places to buy would be.
