RE: mpeg2dmx.ax
When I play MPEG files, often a video will display a ridiculously short amount of time (like 13 seconds on a 5 minute clip) and then when the slider at the bottom reaches the end will keep playing to the end even though it thinks the time is up.
If I rename mpeg2dmx.ax then the length plays correct, but will I lose ability to play some MPEG files? Is there a suitable replacdement to the Elecard version and where can I get it?
I installed Nic's and the All-in-One codec pack thinking it would overwrite the corrupt decoder, but no dice so far.
Thanks,
Mike
