i'm using -LAPTOP- P4 2.6ghz Celeron runnin on windows XP pro Sp2 , with 4 Gb free ( 30 Gb total ) with 705 MB RAM ...
i'm tryin to capture from my miniDV canon 750I through firewire IEEE 1394... now forget about the DMA option , cause in my computer it's only on PIO for some reason ( it's says: DMA IF AVAIABLE , but on the Current transfer mode its on PIO mode ) .
as i'm usin' WINDV software ( all i need is to capture 60 secs ) , there is so many dropped frames , that i can say it's capture pictures and not looks like a video at all.
my computer is concider as clean , and i defrag it allready .. antivirus is disabled , and network connection as well ....
so what is the problem ?
*edit* ohh i forgot to mention that i got HDD 4200 RPM ( since it's laptop ) . maybe the problem is my slow hard disk or the PIO MODE ?
