    Just curious if I can use FFMPEGX to extract subs from a SVCD if so how, and if no, then what?

    Unfortunately, SVCD subtitle extraction is not supported.

    Thanks Major, just checking......is there any program for that (or with that ability) on Mac? If not should I post my question on the regular videohelp.com forums (because I can always attempt something with VPC)?

    I don't think so. Are they regular selectable (rare) SVCD subtitles?

    Situation:
    1. Asian movie SVCD has the English subs (plus cantonese but don't need those)
    2. Asain DVD of same movie does not have English subs
    3. I want to get the english subs from the SVCD and add them to the DVD without converting to .avi or .mov or anything

    FYI-I do not have the discs yet as I want to make sure I can do all this either on Mac or VPC before I spend the money.
