I had topo 4, uninstalled and installed 5 first with real mode. I got through the setup but for some reason it never asked me for the 2nd disk, oh well I'll just use XFCE. Anyway, I then went through the setup and then started it up in real mode for the first time. It got all the way to before the log in screen (its a screen with a bunch of black lines through it- a lattice). It would just sit there forever, I could move my mouse and everything but it just seemed stuck.
I then reinstalled and tried the colinux way. I got all through that and it did recongnize and install my cd but it did have one error with Gnome but that is fine because I can just use KDE. So I finally got through setup and tried booting from colinux. It loads up part way and then gives me this error:
I tried the VNC X version but I couldn't get that to connect.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Garibaldi

Alright, I still cannot get colinux to work but I did manage to get real mode working. Now, I cannot access the internet. I tried doing the network config during setup and I think that I did everything right, would my domain just be my ip server (ie msn.com or tds.net)? I have a dsl connection. I installed TAP, but that shouldn't come into play since windows isn't running in real mode.
