ok, so heres my problem. its not with DVD conversion, has nothing to do with any conversion or... framerates. my problem is, I have an Nvidea Gforce2 video card. I have sucessfully used its TV out feature in the past, however, after an incident (dont you love it when people 'think' they know what they are doing), my tv out feature no longer seems to work.
all I can recall of how I did it before was ending up at a screen which had pictures of the golden gate bridge representing my monitors.
what I am trying to do is get the dual view / clone.
I am running windows XP home, and as I said above - Nvidia gforce 2.
-desperate
thanks

Reinstall the GF software, if you don't see the GF options on the Display settings window.

thanks, yeah that was the first thing I HAD to do - see, the incident left my computer right f****d up - cpu was fine, but the monitor wouldnt start up normally - long story short - I started it up in VGA mode, reinstalled my drivers, updated everything, and now... left where I am now...

dont mean to bump the post - I just want to clearify, I am only looking for a way to get to that screen with the golden gate bridge which gives you the option for dual view/ clone. OR any other way any of you may be familiar with as to how to patch what I see on my monitor onto my TV.

Start > Settings > Control Pannel > Nvidia nView Desktop Manager
[✔] Enable nView Desktop Manager -
yeah... so I'm looking at exactly where it should have been - nview desktop manager - and it looks different. I remember this screen, sure, but its not the screen it shows on the website. and Ive tried all sorts of links on that page that came up, and nothings taken me there. I guess I cant really explain without somebody actually being here and seeing it huh.
