Hi all, I'm a new member.
I'm looking for a good DVD Writer for my files and data back up from my Win 2000 server. Any suggestion would be appreciated

I don't know about others, all i can state is my experiance, and it has been great with this drive, not one problem -

Wow, a lot of options to choose........
I still don't understand the difference..... cuz I check the Plextor's products, there are **xxxUF and **xxxA, similar with other brand name such as Sony DRX-xxxUL, or DRU-xxxA, or DVR-xxx
Can someone explain, please
Thank you

SONY are all rebadged Liteons.
BENQ1620:
PROs:
BITSETTING RIGHT OUTTA THE BOX
GREAT OFFICIAL FIRMWARE SUPPORT (LS is just plain wrong here)
Speed patch can give you 16x ripping on DL pressed discs (and every other disc)
VERY GOOD READER (never, ever had a failed read on either of my BenQs)
Burns very well w/ both +R and -R (and I only use -R)
I've never had a coaster either...listen to those who have them -- not those who pretend they do, then bash it without evidence, then shrink away after.
Cheers,

The Pioneer 109 can burn DL -R discs (when the firmware update is released). I've burned about 250 DVDs since I purchased mine about a month ago, and not a single coaster.
