    Hi
    A friend of mine has the pioneer 108 which is not recognising double layer DVD+R. Firmware is the latest and he is burning single layer ok. I have not tried double layer myself yet so am unable to advise. Can anyone help please. He has win xp and is using Nero 6.

    The A08 supports dual laer burning, so the firmware is not the issue. Does he have the latest updates of Nero?

    The DVR-108 supports DL+R (have used both ritek and verbatim), what version of Nero is he using? the latest one supports DL-R now!!! My firmware is the latest official one, 1.18.
