  1. Does PVAStrumento generally take a long time to convert? Like for demuxing a .ts 2 hour movie how long should it take?

  2. From my exeperience, from 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the bitrate of trasmission (and hence the filesize that can vary from 2 Gb to 5 Gb).

    Hope it helps

Thanks for the reply. Are you using the default settings? or do you make changes. My files are taking 2 to 3 hours and i'm not even getting a 1gb file.

  4. I use default settings except for "packet size" set at 2048 (for DVD).
My sources are not .TS but .MPG because I use DvbDream to record from satellite and it generates only mpeg files.
Could it be the difference ?

Verify also the DMA status of you disk because the operation is very "Disk intensive" and not working in the best mode can cause a big delay.

  5. Yes, I always use DMA. I'll have to try an Mpeg file from my Hauppauge Nexus/RitzDVB capture to see if I get the same thing. The TS file is from my Dreambox. I have other means to make this conversion but I just decided to play with PVS.

  6. There must have been something really wrong with the TS file which is why it was taking long. I tried an mpeg file recorded with RitzDVB and it was fine. It was done in minutes.
