I know it may look like I simply need to look through a TMPG FAQ to find a solution for this ,but trust me, I have searched for at least 2 hours through this site alone. I have yet to find any solution on the internet to they problem I have. I have been using TMPG to convert .OGM to mpg,but now when I try to open any ogm video files I get the error that the file is unsupported. I know for a fact it isn't because I have over 20 other files I have encoded with the exact same saved settings and everything. I havn't changed anything between the time I finished 1 batch of files to another it just decided to stop working. I do have the full version of TMPG and it is not a trial period issue. I have tried reinstalling the codecs and TMPG several times to no avail. I doubt there is anything more I can do short of a reformatt, and the problem is so great I just may be at that point. Please, if you have any ideas....

Yea, I didn't think any of you could handle a problem this bizzare, but it was worth a shot. Guess I must use the rediculous methods everyone else is forced to use.

Hey, out of curiosity, have you tried renaming the .ogm to .avi and trying it that way. That's what I had to do to get it to work with some of my .ogm's.
I am gonna side-step your question with an additional one...my conversions (ogm-mpg) are becoming horribly out of sync. It is only appearing to happen with some of my conversions. Maybe we can put our heads together and solve both of our problems. let me know what you think. -
ogm is just a container, so just because you have sucessfully converted one ogm does not mean that you can convert all of them.

Ok, if they are becoming out of sync look into the fps it is being put into. It may not get converted correctly. If you want I can email my cfg file for tmpg that i used to solve the fps conversion problem. ( tried the renaming trick and it totaly didn't work, thnx for trying tho)
And, I know ogm's can differ from one to another but these ogms came in a single folder as a set. I know for a fact they were all made in the exact same way. I even opened some of them before and didn't encode them, but now I can't. I fear this problem is beyond everyone... I guess I gotta reformatt anyway...
