Intervideo has their software to download and try for 15 days which is great but whenever I have tried them something doesn't work! and you cant get support unless you purchse it. But what if you purchase it and they cant get it working! The most current one I have tried is the Intervideo WinDVD Recorder 5. The idea of recording strait to disc (dvd) would be great. Actually this feature works if the program is running and you press record, but if I schedule it, The program makes an effort to start then quits. You just see the opening screen for a few seconds. Dam so close. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe a conflict with something else? I also have Compro 2PVR It took them 6 monthths to finally get it right but it works great now. It turns the computer on, tunes to the channel, records and shuts the computer off. Works every time. I record 720x480 mpeg2 dvd. It will also burn on the fly but it does not have record to dvd like Intervideo WinDVD.
Thanks
