hello everybody,
may I ask a question?
I'm new in the business and I'm not that good with computer and video.
Three month ago I did buy PRE 7 from Adobe and I did strat playing with the program for a couple weeks.
Well last week I filmed a Clinic with Horses, I did record on a DVD, right after the Clinic I did put the DVD in my computer and copied and saved it on a external hard drive. A day later I did start working, open PRE 7 and I open it as a new project, everything worked well but when I put the 4 capture on the timeline I had only 45 minutes and orginal it's 1hour and 15 minutes.
That's happen with all 4 DVD's that I filmed, always miss some parts of the captures.
Anybody have an idea......what's going on with this program???
thank's Dieter

You should import the DVDs using this method:

... not just copying the files to the hard drive.
VOB file structure is not the same as an MPEG, lots of problems trying to rename it or treat it like it's not DVD authored content.
Using Premiere is fine.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
