  1. Recently I had six very old cine films commercially transfered to DVD, the result was not too bad, quality wise , but some sections have deteriorated badly ( 30 years old ) and some gaps between the 6 different sections.
    I would like to edit out the "bad bits" and perhaps add some music (cine films had no sound track all those years ago)
    Can any body tell me how to do this ie edit a DVD disc

    Demux out of the vobs, then edit with womble VCR. So long as all you do is cut (no transitions, fades etc) then no reencoding should be necessary. Reauthor to get it back to DVD format.
