  1. Is their any way to take the subtitles off my video without doing it over again?
When looking at clips in AVIDUB it doesn't show subs (albeit w/o sound) so subs must
be part of a different stream than video... anybody heard of a way to strip the subs?
without striping the sound... preferably. Or if need be I might even like to take
off the bottom 1/4 of my video, if it looks fine... any Ideas?
I read the topic 'enter subtitles into avi permanent?' and seems as if he wants what I want... only backwards ;-? (i want them out, he wants in ;-?).

  2. De-multiplex in TMPGEnc, then remultiplex the video and audio streams

ooh! I try that!!!... TMPGenc v2.00.29, File->mpeg tools...
I pull up a test mpg (wanted to test a clip b4 to save time ;-?). Anyway it has subs.
My choices are simple de-multiplex and de-multiplex. I choose de-multiplex than pull up my clip. It shows me 3 choices in a box, they are: (empty box) padding stream, (checked box) video stream 0x00 ...., (checked box) audio stream 0x00 ..... At the bottom is a run button, I click it and it tells me to doubleclick on a stream. I want just the raw video so I dc on video stream and it gives me a save as. I save it as something different (so I don't over-write) than go to explorer to see if it worked, it didn't ;-¿ am I doing something wrong?
