Now I'm a huge NFL fan.
Do I care the NHL season is canceled... nope.

Yep - actually wasn't that the last time the NHL locked out also??? Yeah the DEVILS whipped the WINGS in the 95 cup which was a shortened season.....
Damn millionaire players and owners not agreeing - They all lose in the end because Hockey can never be as big in the US as it is in Canada - except here in DETROIT and COLORADO and maybe DALLAS - the big CUP winning teams

Baseball is fun at the stadium - I can't stand watching it on TV.
HOCKEY is fun either way. Even 0-0 games are exciting because EVERY SHOT COUNTS. You never know when the puck can slide under the goalie or bounce off a skate.
And I love it when the game goes 7 or 8 minutes without a stop in play. Those games have incredible flow.

Yeah this is pathetic. From what I heard the players and owners where a few million dollars apart. And that was enough to end the season. Personally I could not care about the players or owners, the true fans maybe. For me it's the support workers who now are unemployed. They don't have a bag of loot lying around to fall back on. You have to consider this is only seasonal work. Lets hope they have a union looking out for them. NOT that I like unions. BTW I think that the players are SCAB workers. They are all playing in europe for a nice piece of change. -garman
