    Hi,
This is sort of related to the previous post. I just figured out how to turn my avi files into a format to burn on a DVD. None of these files have a menu though so when the movie is over it just repeats itself instead of going to a menu. Plus it would be nice to be able to put the movie in the player without it going straight to the movie. I dont want to do anything fancy, basically just the option to play the movie, possibly a scene selection but thats not too neccessary. Is there any software out there that is pretty cheap or even free that is capable of doing this. Remember I dont need anything fancy, just something that will make the menu to start the movie, and if possible scene selection(but not absolutely nessecary).
    Thanks

  2. Why don't you try TMPG DVD Author? Though not free, it is not very expensive either and is pretty good. It offers easy to use templates, motion menus with background sound/music. After compiling it can burns the DVD also.

DVD Lab is also pretty cheap and has a 30 day fully functional demo.

DVD Author Gui is free, and some here use it a lot.

For DVD Author, right click this link then left click "Save Link Target as" (or something similar). You'll be downloading a zip file....
