Hi, I noticed when I recorded a DVD, and finalized, I cant fast foward on other DVD players only chapter skip to move foward. But on Dvds my uncle records for me with his more expensive Panasonic DVD recorder, I can fast Foward the dvds.
Is there a term I should look for when I plan to buy a new DVDrecorder for this feature?

I've never heard of this problem EVER before, personally. Have you looked at the TechLio Forum for any help? There may be a firmware fix for it perhaps? Either way, I've never heard of this before, it's probably specific to your player and/or model. If the discs are compliant DVD Video discs, there should be no reason you can't fast forward them.
