  1. I am making a back up VHS tape from another VCR. How can I eminate an audio hum that I am hearing? I don't appear to have S Video, Component or Composite outputs.

I am using two older Mitsubishi (HS U520 & HS U577) decks.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    E

Sounds like you have a ground loop problem.

    1. Make sure both VCRs are connected to the same surge protector.
    2. The humm might be coming from your cable system, especially if one is hooked up to cable and the other is not. Disconnect any cable connections.
    3. Use hi-grade cables like Monster.

Try plugging both vcr's into the same AC outlet, you may have a grounding problem.
