    i found this:
    http://www.cluboverclocker.com/reviews/mods/psu_mods/vantec_uv_sleeve/

But do you think theres something easier than a heat gun, from the picture a lighter might burn things, and a hot knife ill have to run back and forth between stoves to do, and the only heat gun i can find is more of a soldering gun....hhhhhheeeeellllppppppp!!!!!!

Looks like basic shrink wrap to me which I've used in the past. Probably the easiest thing to use is a cigarette lighter. You can also used a "heat gun" designed for paint removal (used to be about $30 but that was a few years ago), although they put out quite a bit of heat which I don't think I'd try inside the case. You could also try a mini-butane torch (actually used by chefs for certain deserts), which is also abourt $30 (just bought my daughter one recently). Actually, this might work the best because it's a relatively small concentrated source of heat. But if all else fails, just use the cigarette lighter--probably the easiest and cheapest.

  4. If it's like normal heatshrink, an open flame won't hurt it unless you leave it in one place for too long.
