  1. Im getting ready to purchase the epson r300 model of my neighboor for 70 bux and I have a few questions. I hear that ppl have problems with the trays,,,should I ask epson for a new one immediatley or see if this one gives me any problems? 2. Do I print first on the inkjet media then burn or vice versa? 3. What is some good inkjest printable media. Thanks.

You can buy a new one for $100.00, i just bought a R200 brand new for quite a bit less and it works great!!!
Most say to burn first but you should anyways to make sure they are good burns before wasting time & ink printing.

You don't want a used R200 or R300. Not for any price. When you buy one of these printers, you are buying the ink, and a disposable printer.

Even if the ink was just replaced, the printer may die very shortly there after. So unless this printer was used once or twice only, you should get a new one and wear it out yourself.

But a new R300 is a good little plastic machine, and thats all it is.

I like to print my discs first, and after they sit for at least 25 minutes, go and burn them. The burner heats up the disc slightly and makes them dry nicely.
