Hi,
I have with my DV Camcorder and Studio 8 made a DVD that I want to make a copy of. But I can't.
Nero tells me there is an error (Can't remember which)
I can't move the files in Explorer
When I run DVD Decrypt the final (6th) VOB-file can be decrypted. The info tells me something about "Unrecovered read error
The last file (VTS_01_0.BUP) canīt be decrypted either. THe same errormessage.
Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

If you made the DVD from your own camcorder footage, then it is not encrypted unless you also went to the trouble of licensing the encryption AND had your disk professionally pressed.
So, you don't really need to decrypt it. I would suggest you have either fingerprints, smudges or scratches on the read surface of the DVD, or perhaps had a bad write in the first place. You may be using cheap media.Read my blog here.

From the beginning I fought so too, but Iīm able to play the DVD in all the players I have installed on my computer (3) and in the standalone player I got connected to my TV.
If there is any physical error with the disk, I shouldn't be able to play it all should I? -
Not true. I have had a number of disks that would play fine but not rip. You have to remember that small glitches may not be noticed when playing the disk as a movie due to the error correction, but when copying a file, other checks can stop the file being read.
Try again, and this time give us the exact wording of the error message.Read my blog here.

When I cleaned the disk DVDdecrypter accepted it. What I don't understand though is why the Explorer can't copy the bup file. Since I made the disk by my own the disk shouldn't be encrypted.

This become even stranger. I have another disk, made the same way, where also _5.vob causes problems.
I can't copy it in Explorer, I get "CRC-error".
The disk can't be opened in DVDShrink, i get "Invalid DVD navation strukture".
In DVDDecrupter I get I/O Error with
"ScsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition
CDB: 28 00 00 1C 23 44 0000 01 00
Interpreation: Read (10) - Sector:1844036
Sense Area: F0 00 03 00 1C 23 44 0A 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00
Interpretation: No Seek Complete."
When I ran DVDDecrypter the first time I got stucked after 0 % transfered. Then I cleaned the disk and got stucked after 49%. Then I cleaned it again, and then I got stucked after 1%.
Very strange
EDIT: During two more test it was 99% and 76% respektively. -
I'm guessing a combination of dodgy burning from your standalone and lousy media.
The solution, sadly, might not be readily forthcoming.
Some drives are better able to read bad discs. Between my burner and reader, ONE of them can usually read the disc ok. But on other machines I've used, there's just no hope. -
Now I convinced that someone is joking with me...
I don't know how many times a tested yesterday, but today, at the same time I say that Gurm had answered my post, it worked. -
Clap your hands, burn them onto good media, and go buy better discs.
