    I am having problems with audio skipping in adobe premiere 6.5. I am using an mp3 file and it skips in the same spot everytime. I've had this same problem before with different mp3's. The audio sounds find when played outside of premiere. Is there a setting that maybe needs to be changed. I would think my computer specs should be good for editing.

    What about uncompressing the .mp3, and importing as a .wav??
