No sound in movie clips..

Hello to all.

I am very new at this so I hope this isn't too much of a dummy post LOL.

I've downloaded some files onto my hd and all but two of them work fine. The two that do not work will open with a codec error and play.. but with no sound.

My question is.. is there anything that can be done to rectify the problem possibly to get the sound working? A codec update? A re-encode? Anything?

This may be a simple and pointless question but again I am very new to all of this so I may just be beating a dead horse and can never get it to work.. but I guess I'll never know unless I ask! If there's any other additional info that would help that I could post.. such as file information or whatnot please let me know what to post and I'll do my best with it.

Soixante.. thanks VERY much for your reply. That was the exact problem and both the files play just fine with audio.
