I tried the flexible recording for the first time and set the record time to 2 hours and 40 minutes.
When I watched the DVD last night, (in my Panasonic S25), I noticed that toward the end of the movie the video actually stopped and the player went from title 1 to title 2.....then about 5 minutes later the same thing....from title 2 to title 3.
It seems also that I actuall lost a little bit of the movie but since I hadn;t seen it, I don't know.
Is this normal.....the way the FR mode is supposed to operate?
Thanks

A lot of technical posters have suggested that we should avoid FR mode because of numerous problems on other machines. Possibly this is what you ran into. I have began to follow their advice and I stick to 2 hour mode.
Still a few bugs in the system... -
So far I didn’t have this kind of a problem with any DVD player and I doubt that Panasonic will make their own player to have issues with FR recorded discs.
