  1. HI People, Haven't been on this forum for a while but it's still good to see the forums are still doing an excellent job, anyway happy new year toyou all (belated I know) and here is my question.
    Up untill I had to reinstall windows xp (service pack 2) i was re-encoding my svcd to dvd in this manner
    1. using dvd2avi to split the video and audio
    2. using the split audio file with tmpgenc 2.5 to change it from 41000 to 48000
    3. using tmpgenc 2.5 to combine d2v file and 48000 audio file.
    4. Burning mpeg file to dvd using ulead
    This method was working best for me so after the reinstall of windows I added some more memory to upgrade to 1ghz nad then downloaded the newest versions of dvd2avi and tmpgec.
    But when i loaded a mpg file into dvd2avi and save it all i got was the d2v file no other file containing audio. This has never happened before any idea why this is (version of dvd2avi is 1.77.3)
    Hope you can help driving me crazy this is

    dvd2avi is long gone. Update to the latest dgindex 1.2.0RC3.

  3. many thanks got both files now works a treat. one question in regards to ntsc files does is matter if i keep video setting to forced or is that only if the ntsc file is interlaced?
