Newbie help required

Hiya all,

I realise this will have been covered elsewhere and I have searched through this and other forums but have emerged even more confused than when I started!

I wish to rip from DVD to AVI for use on my media machine in the lounge.

I would like to know what tools to use, and preferably how to use them!

All help is very greatly appreciated.

Please read the guides. You will find what you want under the "Convert" heading, on the left-hand side of your screen.

Also, please try to choose a title that describes your problem - many users will bypass your thread, and you won't get many good answers.

I'd recommend you try AutoGK. It is very user-friendly but maintains a fair degree of felxibility and power. It has four steps to it - you really can't go wrong.
