often times i have many 1+ hour encodings/rippings that i need to do, and like to do it when i leave or sleep. My question is, can i use, say virtual dub to rip audio, and DVD shrink to encode a DVD at the same time? No kidding it will take longer, but will multiple processes like this mess up quality of video/audio or anything? Also, if im encoding/decoding would it hurt if im on aim or some other small prgm, no games or anything. btw, computer is AMD 1900+ with 1gig ram and standard ide 7200rpm 80gig hdd.
thx

It will not mess up the video or audio.
But this is not dvd authoring. Moving you to the general video forum.
