    Hi

I’m trying to extract XDVD to my hard disk. DVDDecrypter,DVDShrink couldn’t do it due to i/o error. My DVD drive has hard time reading the disk but my DVDRAM drive read it.

TMPGEn could extract the mpeg2 but the files are corrupted and have onlt green screen.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

What's "X" about your DVD? If Decrypter/Shrink has probs reading it, the source disc is usually damaged/bad in some way.

Well, if it works in your DVDRAM drive, why don't you back it up from there, and write it out to a really good media, that you scan for read errors before calling it a day?

How do you extract mpeg from a DVD with TMPGEnc? I'd suggest ReJig or VobEdit or DVDDecrypter

    Playing them with what?
