Abandonware?

It's over a year ago that ffmpegX was updated. Major last posted six months ago, and last visited the forum three months ago. Much as I appreciate the application, I wonder if it's not time to move on. I am disappointed because as a paying customer I was hoping for some commitment to maintain and further develop the application.

Yeah I'm also hoping the next release will be a BIG one which will fix all the little bugs & shortcomings.

I had an email from major two weeks ago, so I guess he is not totally out of ffmpegx ... I am a paying consumer too, and hope as well an update since I'm encoding with ffmpegx since 0.0.4 release. anyway, those 15$ were well spent, even should there be no more updates ...
