Is this DVD recorder an USA or Europen Model?

I have found a Pioneer DVR-220-S DVD-R recorderfor sale (NEW) for $149.99.

But, I am confused if its a USA , Europen, or gray market model .

Only Pioneer's Europen websit list this model, but, when reading the reviews for it on this site it seems that this model was/is sold in the US at places like wal-mart.

So, is this is, or is this not a full fledge USA model

Definitely a U.S. recorder, there are many threads here talking about it. I've got a 420, the same recorder plus a hard drive.

The european model is also called DVR-220-S, but if it is sold in an american store, hence the $, i suupose it should be the US version.

Howewver, since I am a little worried about geting stuck with the wrong format, I have chosen not to get the Pioneer.

Instead, I went with the dual format Lite-on 5005.

Which I do have questions about, however, I'll ask those in another post.
