I've been burning avi's onto DVD using NeroVision and the last disc I viewed on my play was seriously out of sync. It starts out fine, but 30 minutes in the sound was about 30 seconds behind the images.
The avi's are fine all the way through when viewed on my PC, but Nerovision must be doing something to cause this slippage ...
Any suggestions ?

I wondered if it might be a PAL / NTSC problem (as it's an American show) but it still happens... the picture just lags behind the sound and it's (almost) amusing to see different actors speaking the wrong lines !!

I've always got on fine with Nero before, and have burned many other avi's with no problem at all. Just wondered what it is that makes particular avi's come out of sync like that.
I had a quick look at the programmes you sugested - do they have a good menu facility ?~*Love it or shove it*~
