DirecTV with Tivo to PC without a capture card

I've been searching and wandering through threads for a few hours here and between Tivo's site.

I want to transfer video from my DirecTV with Tivo to my PC to edit (if necessary), create a menu and burn on DVD.

After a lot of reading, I think there are some limitations to capture cards which makes me want to investigate networking my DirecTV with Tivo to perform the transfer.

I thought I would just have to wait it out for the Tivo-To-Go, but that is only going to be available for Series 2 Tivo and not for DirecTV with Tivo (http://www.tivo.com/4.9.19.3.asp).

I've found a thread about ReplayTV and networking a ReplayTV receiver with the PC to get the file. Someone suggested using DVArchive.

What is the equivalent of DVArchive for Tivo?

Any other suggestions on sites to visit about networking a DVR are also appreciated.
