  1. Is there a way, using ffmpegX preferably, to combine multiple VIDEO_TS folders into 1 so they can become 1 DVD? Chapters separating them would be perfect.

  2. Chaptering support will be added in later versions.

About merging VIDEO_TS, it depends whether you're just needing to join them, or also to compress them (as normally if you join two VIDEO_TS movies they won't fit in one DVD).

  3. I too would be interested in learning how to merge two VIDEO_TS folders. Since a folder that is too large can always be shrunk with DVD2OneX, size is irrelevant.

  4. Perfect merging of VIDEO_TS folders implies editing the IFO file. I will add some functionality in later versions.

  5. I hope these later version additions are not far away, this VIDEO_TS joining is a feature I would love to have, this way I can put some episodes of series on 1 DVD to watch on my TV.

  6. There is an experimental feature in DVD2OneX which allows the joining of VIDEO_TS fodlers. However, the menus are lost, and a menu-less DVD is created where the FF button allows jumps to the next track/chapter. I would prefer something along the lines of: Given two DVDs with individual menus, a "super menu" is created with buttons "Disk 1" and "Disk 2", each leading to the respective original DVD menu. Is this even possible?

I have DVD Studio Pro 3. Is it possible to "de-author" a VIDEO_TS folder to obtain the original files, thereby allowing such a construction by hand in DSP3?

  7. See answer above. It needs working with the IFO file. Added in my to-do list. You may also use an extractor to obtain a single VOB file, or elementary streams, instead of a VIDEO_TS folder.
