I got this problem after putting a tape in my trv110.

I didn't knew the tape was in bad conditions. Apparently there was an internal problem with the tape, that i cound't see.

i was desesperate to check the tape and then i putted it on my tr818, and i screw it up also.

The cameras appears to be taping just fine. The standby light goes off and the red "record" light comes on. The digital timer moves and the tape spindel moves. It has every appearance that it is taping. However, when I switch to VTR (?) mode to view the tape, rewind and press play, all I get is a blue screen.

I know the heads are clean, I don't know what is going on.

    anyone ?

You said that tape got screwed up.

During your playing/rew/forw it, by chance, perhaps the tape fliped over
the other side, and even though you see things in your viewfinder, its
not actually be recorded.., hence your blue screen.

If you check the tape itself, see if it is very glossy, or gold-like.
If it is, then the above is what happend. The tape fliped over.

  3. No the tape is ok.

    Both camcorders got screwed up.

in fact, i've already tried to play lot of tapes and nothing happen.

i found some articles mentioning that apparently this happens in certain cases if something goes wrong with the heads and the tape.... i don't know.

I just can't beileive my 2 camcorders were damaged at the same time, by the same tape.

    i wanna die.
