The obviously better image is the AVI to MPG via many days of stepping through the process after many months of learning. What is unfair about this comparison is the that the AVI to MPG was one of my better efforts while the MV30 is one of my first with little understanding of what and how to tweak the settings. There may be little that I can do to improve the quality of the finished DVD. With the MV30 there is no Audio problem .

Again, this is an animated gif. Let the page load and the image will alternate between three captures of the same frame.(Real close)
