  1. Hello there! Here's what's happening, and what i want to do(please, somebody help me!!):
I rip with dvd Decrypter, the content of a dvd, but, the intro of the show(the dvd has 4 episodes of a show), it can't be ripped by Decrypter(it dosen't even show up on DD ripping screen... we can only see the 4 episodes, and the ending of the show... ah, and a static "8 seconds" propaganda screen). Using dvd Shrink, i can see, that the intro of the show, is a part of the menu, i mean, we can see the 10 seconds of the intro, and the last two seconds, are already one of the first screens of the menu.
So, i was wondering, there is a soft that i can rip this 10 seconds(the intro, itself), and, convert this on m2v and ac3 files, so, i can author everything with Maestro later(My goal is put like this:Intro, first episode-second-third-fourth-ending)?

Please somebody could point me the best soft(s) to do such thing?
    Thank you so much!

I'm not certain I understand your question, but if you install Anydvd you'll be able to decrypt and copy the vobs in question to your hard drive for editing.

Thanks a lot, my friend, but after reading some coments and reviews about this soft, right here on Videohelp tools, i thinks it's better i quit.
Eh, i've tried something... i ripped with Decrypter, in mode F, only the primaries BUP and IFO, and the vts vob of this 10 secs intro... and, played in Power dvd... it played all right, but it freezes my pc, when the playback of this Vob finishes... well, i've tried to record with Nero this file(the "VTS-video", as "dvd video)", and Nero advises that something is missing or out of order(don't remember the message), even though i've recorded, and, like Nero told me, it was unplayable and unrippable, ehhe... what a mess... come to think of... if i had a desktop dvd recorder, i could simple playback this 10 secs intro, record, then, rip it, and author... but, i guess i'll have to wait some more years, this things are very expensive right now, at least for me.

    Bruxo,
All hope is not lost!! I don't think you're doing things the right way. For example, you can't rip only part of a DVD and hope that it will play! Or even load in Nero!
I think you should use DVDDecrypter to rip it in file mode, keeping everything.
Does maestro let you import VOB files? If yes, all you need to do is find which one has your intro then import that in maestro and cut whatever you need of it.
If not, you can always demux the VOB file that has the intro into an m2v and ac3 and import in maestro (the whole file). Then you can probably extract exactly what you need from it in maestro, right?

MenuShrink a free tool to shrink menus into stills with or without audio!
DVDSubEdit: a free tool to modify your subtitles directly inside the vob.

Thanks a lot, my friend! Everything is solved now(thank God), i used dvd Shrink, to rip only the 10 secs of the vídeo(that i need), already in dvd format(video_ts and audio_ts).
    Thanks again,
    Bruxo
