    When I convert AVI to DVD, everything is fine, except when it changes chapters. It freezes up for a second and continues normally.

    When I play the video on my computer, it's fine. When I play it on PS2, it is choppy. Could be the PS2, but that's my only DVD player.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    try vso divxtodvd,available from www.vso-software.fr.
    its free and very good.
    not as quick,say,as winavi,but with better results
