    what i am after is a way or a plugin that will allow me to run winamp on one pc on my lan / network and let people with winamp on the other computers on my lan / network listen to what is playing on my winamp. i have tried a couple of plugins from winamps site and they do not seem to work. any ideas / help would be great. my lan / network config is using a belkin router connected to a couple of pc's and a speedtouch 530 adsl modem. i would prefere to have direct lan access from winamp to winamp. cheers

    It sounds like you should be using Shoutcast with Winamp.
