  1. I'm starting to learn, for fun, about the internal structure of what I'll
    call "industry standard" DVDs.
I mean all the files within VIDEO_TS and their interrelationships.

Is there a program that will work its way thru VIDEO_TS, checking
everything, detecting if something is non-compliant AND pointing out
    what it doesn't like ?

I was using ULEAD BURN-NOW when I 1st gor my DVD burner and it would
complain about 50% of the time that VIDEO_TS was out of spec, but would
never tell why [and it doesn't generate any logs].

I tried to use IFOedit for this but can't find the right buttons to push.

I found a program that does exactly what I want but it costs $500,
glad to dig up the URL if Bill Gates wants to have a go with that one.

    TIA, P-PA

Your best bet is "Mark's DVD Tray Player Professional"

It is the best thing for delevlopers to analyse VIDEO_TS folders and is used by many to "verify complaince"

dead links and a couple to older versions which I d/l'ed. Not an easy prog. to find.

Looking fwd to playing with it.
