I've heard mention previously of people downloading subtitle streams for DVDs. This is especially handy when you're having hearing problems and some thoughtless idiot has made a DVD with no subtitles whatsoever (many recent Universal DVDs released in Australia fit this profile).
The questions then are:
* If such subtitle streams exist, where can I find them?
* How do I add them to a DVD?
