Baldrick, I was wondering if you would please consider increasing the 6k filesize max for avatars?
I'm sure 6k is more than enough for jpg's but since gif's work also, they really take a beating when they're shrunk down.

Now that I see it full size, I can't help but wonder if you're holding your arms out so as not to fall over. Those are HUGE. My condolences to your back.
BTW I'm not complaining.Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -

Besides, big avators can be annoying, specially when the res can be any

I like the standard standard size avator

yeah raise the avatar limit to, say.... about 500kb
I have a lot of groovy avatars I'd like to use...
Also, if you could raise the size to at least 160x160 that'd be grrrreeeeaaaat
thanks

That's a really groovy gif freestyler.
But I didn't mean to change the resolution, that could stay the same at 80x80.
I was thinking of changing just the file limit from 6k to maybe 20-30k to be able to get a few good frames in.
But I didn't realize it would cause problems for so many.
Thanks anyway for considering it Baldrick.

Well someone on 56k with a good connect would have to take 4 to 6 seconds just to download a 20 to 30k avatar. I could see maybe an increase to 7 or 8k but doubt a high traffic forum would want the increased traffice that avatars that big would add
