Frustrating problem as I use FX quite a bit ...
I've managed to get Premiere Pro 1.5 to recognize Hollywood FX v4.6 and 5.1 (5.1 renaming to .prm technique)
I've been using 4.6 with Premiere 6.5 for over ayear but after some constant crashing I upgraded to Premiere Pro and it's much more stable.
Trouble is, after I try to use HFX, the preview renders perfect but the OUTPUT gives me a VERTICAL BLINDS type effect. This only happens when exporting the movie.
It gives the same identical result with 4.6 or 5.1. I've reinstalled all apps at least twice just to be sure.
Oddly, If I export a single frame, it seems to work ok
It also gives different results depending on if I use DV, Square pixels and the smaller the resolution the worse the effect ..
I'm hoping this is just a setting I'm missing somewhere as Premiere Pro is a bit different. To me it looks like a deinterlace type issue, but can't figure why this is the ONLY plugin with the problem ...
Has anyone SEEN THIS BEFORE ?
