G`day ,
I have a CML DVD player .
When DVD is loaded , and you activate the zoom display , the Zoom 2X display just stays there , and does not disapear .
In other words , if I want to watch a DVD , I have to watch it with the 2x display permanently displayed in the left hand top of the screen.
Any Ideas ?????/.

Umm..
Does your DVD player have a function so you can zoom out to normal? Do you mean, you have to do this evertime?
Else I would say, if your TV has a zom function (which my TV does) check if it has something to do with the TV.

The player can zoom from 2x,3x,4x and can narrow to 1/4,1/3,1/2 .
Normal play , has that keyhole effect , where there is a large gap between top and bottom of screen.
But as soon as you press the zoom key to enlarge the picture to fit the screen , the 2X dispaly comes on screen , and will not go away as it does on most other DVD s Ive seen.
In other words as soon as you click the zoom feature , the logo does not go away , but stays there .
If you zoom back to normal , the display goes ?????
My TV does not have Zoom.

then it must be a feature in your DVD to remind the user that he is watchin the movie in 2x zoom mode. Get in touch with the manufacturer of the player and get it confirmed.

I have tried to find the Manufactures of this DVD Player ( China ) but cant seem to find out who exactly makes them.
Got it from ebay , and if its faulty , then the cost of the return postage makes it unrealistic for sending it back .
