is there any way to have 2 computers encode 1 file with mainconcept mpeg encoder?
i have an amd athlon 1600+ & an amd athlon 2800+. it would be much quicker if i could have mainconcept use both cpu's to do one file.. kind of like a dual processor machine.

You would think right?
Vegas software supports multiple networked computers processing a project (cluster rendering). BUT MPeg2 encoding is excluded due to Mainconcept licensing restrictions to one CPU.
I don't think it would work even if you bought the extra licenses. Someone needs to call Mainconcept.
I for one have 3 Premiere, 1 Vegas and 2 ULead Mainconcept licenses and I would like to network and automate my rendering.
