If I am burning a copy of a movie with audio properties of DTS, THX etc, will the "copy" have the same audio properties as the original? (i.e. will the copy be identical to the original?)(
( I should note I am using optical audio and coaxial audio inputs between a seperate dvd player and the ILO recorder-then in from the ILO to a receiver via the same way-optical/coaxial audio input)
I have tried it with a movie and it "appears" to have retained the surround sound effects, I just want to confirm I am getting everything from the original as far as audio is concerned.
Thanks for your help if you have any input![]()

It's my understanding that the iLO recorders will let whatever sound protocol that is on a DVD being played into them "pass through" to the outputs, however, if you are recording that DVD with the iLO, the recorded DVD will only have stereo Mpeg 1 level 2 audio.
