  1. If I am burning a copy of a movie with audio properties of DTS, THX etc, will the "copy" have the same audio properties as the original? (i.e. will the copy be identical to the original?)(

( I should note I am using optical audio and coaxial audio inputs between a seperate dvd player and the ILO recorder-then in from the ILO to a receiver via the same way-optical/coaxial audio input)

I have tried it with a movie and it "appears" to have retained the surround sound effects, I just want to confirm I am getting everything from the original as far as audio is concerned.

Thanks for your help if you have any input

It's my understanding that the iLO recorders will let whatever sound protocol that is on a DVD being played into them "pass through" to the outputs, however, if you are recording that DVD with the iLO, the recorded DVD will only have stereo Mpeg 1 level 2 audio.
