  1. I'm trying to convert a rm tv episode to burn on a multivideo dvd. When i try to do so, it give me this error. What i;m a mising?

Encoding started on Sat Jan 15 00:41:33 EST 2005
    MEncoder dev-CVS-041116-19:27-3.3 (C) 2000-2004 MPlayer Team

Font /usr/local/share/mplayer/font/font.desc loaded successfully! (206 chars)
    REAL file format detected.
    Not audio/video stream or unsupported!

  2. I had the same problem with some .rm files. Try the following:

    - Check the box "Open Terminal Window"
    - After the process aborts with the error message you gave, hit the "Up Arrow" key to review the last command in the terminal window.
    - edit it to remove the two apostrophes ( ' ) right at the beginning where mencoder is called, also you need to replace "Application Support" with "Application\ Support". Then delete everything between "-oac" and "-ovc", replace "-oac" with "-nosound", keep "-ovc" and everything else. Hit enter.
    - the encoding should start, producing a movie with no sound. If that works, Use AudioHijack to capture the sound manually and convert it seperately.

I hope that this works for you as it did for me
