I have converted a MOV video (I hate that format) to an MPEG-2 file, in .MPG format. I am a bit stuck on how I go from there to a VIDEO_TS directory on my hard drive. I have tried TMPGEnc Free, but the MPEG-2 encoding function has "expired".Any suggestions?

That's the part that's called authoring if I'm not mistaken (if you've already encoded to MPEG2 mpg).
See the guides on the left; there are quite a few freeware authoring solutions (mainly based on DVD author) and a few popular ones which are not free - e.g. TMPGEnc DVD Author, DVDLab etc...

Yes. It's authoring. That'll create the VIDEO_TS files that need to go in the same folder name on the DVD

Okay. I am just having a big problem finding the tool I need to do it with (tried VSO's DIVXtoDVD and it just leaves my system hanging for some reason).
