how can I burn clips to a dvd.

I have some video clips that play in wmp and power dvd and i just want to put these clips on dvd,can someone please point me in the right direction. I am familiar with dvd back ups but this is all new to me,all I want is just the clips and no menus etc.

Thank you baldrick for the help,but I read that this was the newbie conversion thread and im a newbie at this so I figured I was in the right place,but if I was wrong please forgive me. 8)
