    When I create an ISO of Shrek 2 using DVD Decrypter it plays with no sound.

    It is the first and only time it has happened.

    Anyone know why?

    Why don't you copy the disc in file mode and then use DVD Shrink to select audio and menus and customize your backup the way you want.

    I had this happen when I backed up The Pianist. DVD Shrink messed up the programming some how.

    But you can probably just select the English audio channel using your remote control for your DVD player. OR if you start the movie a Different way like through the chapter select menu.

    Rip in file mode with dvddecrypter, and the problem is solved.

    Yeah File mode is better.

    Alien Life Form is correct. but since you already used Disc just press the audio button on your remote. Press it a few times even. Your player should display what language the current audio channel is on screen.
